Leros to Lipsos for the penultimate night
Northerlies blowing as is their right.
Katana's stray halyard caught up again,
Cornelia the hero - she's Queen of the Main.
Dry Martinis were savoured with Bridges converted
Julia commanding so disaster averted.
A windy return on the last day awaited,
Let's hope by morning it's somewhat abated.
Up and out promptly with a reef in the sail
In a stiffening breeze and spume o'er the rail.
We sailed into Yali in time for late lunch
This happy and salt splattered Sirmoori bunch.
And so we look back on ten days of sun.
We've seen bits of Greece with frolics and fun.
Will requisitioned some lovely Metaxa,
He certainly knows how it helps to relax yer!
And so Adieu until we next meet.
It certainly has been a wonderful treat.
Thus until the next episode of this little story
All that remains is to say 'Jai Sirmoori'!

Sirmoor Autumn Golf Meeting. Foxhills Golf Club – 9 October 2013
The final of this year's golf meetings made the most of the last day of
Summer, literally – the temperature dropped and it rained almost daily
thereafter. But 9
th
October was a lovely sunny day and the conditions
were perfect for golf on the outstanding Bernard Hunt Course. Some of
our regulars were away but a reasonable turnout was achieved wit
some of our 'Honorary' golfers (marked with an asterisk). It was par-
ticularly good to welcome Ram for his first outing with the SGS. As the
owner of the Himalayan Golf Club in Pokhara he is looking forward to
