are expected to be in the region of 380. The penalty to the Bde of not
reducing is an unbalanced career structure and no promotion. It is
critical that we do reduce our excess.
8. G200. Col RGR, Brigadier Craig Lawrence MBE, is leading the
project team for G200. The aim of G200 is to “mark 200 years of Gurkha
service to the Crown, in an event that enhances the Brigade’s reputation both
nationally and internationally, in order to contribute to the maintenance of
the Brigade of Gurkhas in the Army’s order of battle and to enhance support
for the GWT.” More details will be sent out shortly.
