HC 2 GR 93 - 94]. It might have been a coincidence that the three ex-2
GR Head Clerks were able to meet up again after decades during a
homely reunion lunch at Kumar Sahib’s house in Kathmandu in
October last year. Glad to see each other they obviously had a lot to
catch up on and share some old happy memories of paltan. All three
send their best wishes and warm regards to all Sirmooris in the UK.

A Changed Aspect
When recruiting in Nepal in the mid-eighties I tried to get away from
the usual better-off areas in the ‘home counties’ around Pokhara and I
went far afield to the mid-west and enlisted from among the remote
